XVII CAC CONGRESS
ARBITRATION AND MEDIATION
IN PERSPECTIVE

On 4 and 5 July 2024, the Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAC) is organising its XVII Congress

The central theme of this congress is Arbitration and Mediation in Perspective. It will cover topics such as: arbitration and the new frontiers of technology; class actions and third-party funding in arbitration; the standards of the arbitrators' duty of disclosure based on the Halliburton/Abengoa case; and discussion of some successful cases in mediation and recent case law on arbitration.

The afternoon of 3 July will be dedicated to the Arb Innovation Lab, with the session being organised by the CAC Future Committee and APA Sub-40.
